FCAM Campus Life

FCAM STEM Night

Thank you to all who participated in our FCAM STEM Night! It was a huge success. Many students and teachers came out to make this a wonderful event.

Thank you to PTO and all the student and teacher volunteers who made this night possible!

Mini Library Station

The House System was instructed to complete a project for the year. The mini library stations are a house project built by House Enkrateia. It started as an idea after noticing small sharing libraries in front of different schools and businesses in the Mesquite area. We thought it would be a great way to get additional books in the hands of the students that they find interesting and educational. The students helped sand and paint the stations during house meetings for their contribution. We also had a student donate paint brushes. This also gave the students a sense of ownership and pride. House Enkrateia and the House System hope the students enjoy and get great use of the mini library stations.

Safety and Security

Safety & Security Corner

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Hi!  My name is Mr. Nehemiah Mills, I have the joy of serving FCA Mesquite as the campus safety supervior.  Here at Founders Classical Academy of Mesquite we conduct several safety drills each calendar school year.  These drills range in many varieties from fire, evacuation, hard lock-down, soft lock-down, tornado, medical hold, hazardous and shelter in-place.  Faculty, staff and students respond in a real time way to make sure safety plans are followed.  Administration along with the safety committee observe and audit these drills to ensure that time management, correct designated areas and general practices are being adhered to.   We debrief and log each drill according to our campus preparedness plan.  For any security concerns or questions, please email me at nmills@responsiveedtx.com

Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.

Tap into a Network. PTO functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.

Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTO, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause—your child and all children in the community.

Speak Up. PTO can be a way for you to suggest change more effectively at your child’s school.

Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Our PTO plays an important role by supporting building improvements through advocacy and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum-based programs and social/family events.

Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTO member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
